Barta Interiors New Culver City Location
After extensive renovations, Barta Interiors opened in the summer of 2026 at 8634 Washington Blvd in Culver City, California. Janice Barta, the principal designer and founder of Barta Interiors, signed a lease in 2025 at the former location of the Midland Shop general store. Janice and her expert team spent several months planning and constructing a truly beautiful space worthy of her design business. The former retail store was transformed into a showroom and office that adds a touch of elegance to the Culver City Arts District.
Barta Interiors joins the vibrant architectural and interior design scene in East Culver City. It’s located a couple of blocks away from the the Helms Design District which is home to a unique collection of design and home furnishings stores, as well as award-winning restaurants, It sits on the former home of the Helms Bakery which has been historically preserved for future generations to enjoy. Barta Interiors fits in seamlessly in a neighborhood filled with architects, designers, furniture retailers, and home accessory providers.

Barta Interiors offers interior architectural services, interior design, custom furniture design, and vintage art & design sourcing and consultation. Located in Culver City and serving the greater Los Angeles area, they are a small collective of designers working to inspire the interiors of their clients.
