West Adams Mid City LA 90016 is an historic neighborhood in the South LA region of the Los Angeles metro area. Most of the original buildings were constructed between 1880 and 1925 which gives the community lots of character. Currently, many new developments are rising up and the area is very popular with young adults and the artists. Mid City boundaries are Hoover Street and Washington Boulevard, Vermont Avenue and Pico Boulevard, Western Avenue and Pico Boulevard, Normandie Avenue and the Santa Monica Freeway, and La Brea Avenue and the Santa Monica Freeway. West Adams is bound by Santa Monica Fwy on the north, Crenshaw on the east, Exposition and Jefferson on the south and Culver City on the west (Ballona Creek & Fairfax).
