View Park-Windsor Hills
An unincorporated community which is part of the City of Los Angeles surrounding Angeles Vista Boulevard and the Windsor Hills neighborhood is on the southern end to the north of Slauson Avenue. View Park−Windsor Hills is one of the wealthiest primarily African-American neighborhoods in the United States. View Park was developed between 1923 and 1970 as a luxury hillside community by the Los Angeles Investment Company building
homes in the Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean styles. Architects that designed homes in the View Park neighborhood were Paul Williams, Postle & Postle, R. F. Ruck, M.C. Drebbin,
Paul Haynes, Charles W. Wong, Leopold Fischer, H. Roy Kelley, Raphael Soriano,
Robert Earl, Vincent Palmer, Theodore Pletsch and Homer C. Valentine. On July 12, 2016, View Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Windsor Hills was developed in the late 1930s by Marlow-Burns Development Company. It was the first subdivision in Southern California for which the newly created Federal Housing Administration provided mortgage insurance.
Rueben Ingold Park
Opened on August 17, 1971 next to the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area with the newly Stocker Trail Corridor pathway to connect the two. Residents also use the Valley Ridge Ave hill for exercising.
Hyde Park
A neighborhood in South Los Angeles 90043 which was formerly a separate city, but was consolidated with Los Angeles in 1923.

According to the Mapping L.A. project of the Los Angeles Times, Hyde Park touches Leimert Park on the north, Vermont Square on the northeast, Chesterfield Square on the east, Manchester Square on the southeast; Inglewood on the south and southwest, and View Park-Windsor Hills on the west and northwest. Hyde Park, Angeles Mesa, and View Heights are all a part of the Park Mesa Heights Neighborhood Council
